The mission of The Atlantic Coast Opera Festival is to discover outstanding unknown artists by providing them the training, stage experience and exposure they deserve, creating by the same token a world-class summer opera venue à la Glyndebourne or Salzburg Festival.  Its staunch commitment to artistic excellence is evidenced by the number of artists from past seasons who were awarded contracts with The Metropolitan Opera and other major companies nationwide – as well as by the enthusiastic response The Festival has received across the board.
